This includes sexual harassment, which refers to behavior that is not welcome, is personally offensive, debilitates morale, and interferes with academic or work effectiveness of the receiver. It is usually imposed on a person in an unequal power relationship through abuse of authority but may also occur from friends and colleagues. Central to this concept is the use of implied rewards or threat of deprivation in a coercive attempt to solicit sexual attention.

Promptly report ethical violations by other Craniosacral Therapists to the Carol Gray Center for CST Studies Ethics and Standards Committee or local authorities, as appropriate.

Disciplinary action will be taken toward the therapist if a complaint is determined to be valid.

Disciplinary action may include, but is not limited to, compulsory counseling, compulsory continuing education, suspension, revocation of certification, cancellation of enrollment and revocation of scholarships.

The Carol Gray Center for CST Studies Standards of Practice

Craniosacral Therapy is a specialized branch of osteopathic-based therapies, which uses touch to affect the energy systems or channels of energy of the body. Craniosacral Therapy focuses on total body health. This includes the Craniosacral System, the nervous system, and the energy systems of the body. The Craniosacral System is defined as the structures and fluid that surround, nourish, protect and support the central nervous system. The goal of Craniosacral Therapy is to gently facilitate structural mobility and motility, so the body can find its own balance. Craniosacral Therapy is drug-free and non-invasive; it is performed fully-clothed.  Craniosacral Therapy practitioners strive to give the minimum amount of input necessary, using minimal touch, words and directed movement to deepen awareness of existing patterns of movement and to suggest new possibilities of movement. Various unique rhythms of the body are pinpointed, and areas that are not functioning optimally are addressed. This supports awareness, and allows the body to be in equilibrium.
