As a therapy that utilizes touch, Craniosacral Therapy falls under the regulation of most state boards of massage therapy. Craniosacral therapists who are actively certified by The Carol Gray Center for CST Studies, however, may meet the requirements of their state board for exemption from licensing.

It is the individual certified craniosacral therapist’s responsibility to insure they meet all of the criteria for exemption and practice legally within their state.
